CALL FOR PROPOSAL: EU-ASEAN GET UP AND MOVE

The EU-ASEAN GET UP & MOVE event aims to support three main pillars of the European Green Deal: sustainable transport, eliminating pollution, and ensuring a just transition for all. The event is loosely designed as a continuation of the EU-ASEAN Bike45Ride held across ASEAN in 2022 which attracted over 5,800 participants from all ASEAN Member States.
The event will be held of offline in Jakarta, Indonesia, as part of the EU-ASEAN Green Diplomacy Week 2023. A digital event package will also be made available to other European Delegations in the region to enable them to hold the event in their respective countries.
The name EU-ASEAN GET UP & MOVE is derived from the EU Green Transition for a Sustainable Planet and More Positive Impact Action. It is designed to encourage participants to move, either by riding a bicycle, running, or walking.
Requirements
The Communication and Visibility project requires an event organiser to develop, prepare and implement the EU-ASEAN GET UP AND MOVE kick-off event. The selected tenderer shall:
- have a proven track record in organising reliable offline events, especially simultaneous fun bike, running, and fun walk events
- have experience in providing logistical support for offline events, especially simultaneous fun bike, running, and fun walk events
- have experience in engaging sport enthusiasts and communities and have a solid database, of cyclists, runners and fun walk participants in Jakarta, Indonesia
- have experience in engaging communities of people living with disabilities for sports activity such as cycling, running or fun walking
- have the ability to provide high quality liaison officers with solid knowledge of fun bike, running and fun walk event organisation
- demonstrate technical capabilities to provide excellent customer service and troubleshooting
- demonstrate a solid understanding of the fun bike, running and fun walk landscape
